Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics


The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking outstanding a developmental/behavioral pediatrician for a clinician-educator faculty position in the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health Dallas.


For this position, a substantive component of the faculty role will be to lead the Down Syndrome Clinic Program. We are especially interested in applicants with interests and/or experience in teaching and in applicants with a strong research training background who are interested in conducting research in the field of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Clinician-educator faculty will have ample opportunities to teach residents and medical students.  Candidates must have completed a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and have a dedication to academic excellence.  Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas and be board eligible or certified in Pediatrics and in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.  Academic title will be commensurate with academic credentials.  Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time status.
