    This is a Direct Hire Open Continuous Announcement (OCA) for Physician (All Specialties) for consideration in the various specialty departments at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ and will report to the Department Supervisor onsite. The Physicians has various specialties as indicated in this announcement to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, when giving direct patient care within specialty considered.

    TITLE 38 MARKET PAY: Range by Specialty from $140,000 - $375,000 annually as follows:

    -Internal Medicine, Primary Care; Pediatrics; Family Practice; Infectious Disease Physician; up to $215,000 annually
    -OB/GYN; up to $240,000 annually
    -Psychiatry; up to $264,000 annually
    -Ophthalmology; up to $300,000 annually
    -Orthopedic Surgeon; up to $375,000 annually
    -Radiology; Anesthesiology; up to $325,000 annually
    -General Surgery; Anesthesiology; Otolaryngology; up to $275,000 annually

    Qualified candidates with a complete application will be considered for current or future vacancies as they occur.     -Responsible for the practice of medicine or direct service to patients involving the performance of diagnostic, preventative, or therapeutic services to patients in hospitals and clinics.
    -Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat, prevent
    illness, disease, or injury.
    -Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patient's condition.
    -Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examinations results. Experience with electronic health records is preferred.
    -Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
    -Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
    -Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
    -Coordinate work with nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other allied health professionals in the provision of a variety of health services.
