The selectee for this position will serve as a Physician (Psychiatry) in the Directorate for Mental Health of NAVHOSP JACKSONVILLE. In this position you will provide and coordinate routine and emergent inpatient and outpatient mental health services relative to the examination, diagnosis, treatment and disposition of active duty and selected beneficiaries by providing evaluations, psycho education, counseling, disposition, recommendations, and group therapy.

  • Provide psychiatric care and clinical supervision in the treatment of mentally ill patients and patients with acute psychiatric problems or chronic conditions.
  • Provide direct patient care for adult outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Monitor and document patient care involving alcohol and substance abuse.
