    The selectee for this position will serve as a Psychiatry Physician in the Naval Health Clinic of NAVAL HEALTH CLINIC HAWAII.

    Naval Health Clinic Hawaii (NHCH) is comprised of two large clinics, Makalapa at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) and Kaneohe Bay at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Other smaller clinics are located at Camp H.M. Smith, Wahiawa, and Barking Sands on the island of Kauai. NHCH is a modern, state-of-the-art ambulatory health care facility.

    In this position you will be a Physician (Psychiatry) in the Department of Mental Health, Naval Health Clinic Hawaii. You will work in direct patient care in adult outpatient services as a practitioner and consultant in mental health/psychiatry with emphasis on problems of all levels complexity.

    A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 11.32% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

    A typical day in the life of a Psychiatry Physician!

    • Provide continuing follow-on care to outpatients with acute and/or chronic disorders and complications of these disorders.
    • Establish evaluation techniques, develop treatment and rehabilitation plans and provide appropriate therapeutic treatment services.
    • Collaborate with providers in other medical specialties on cases involving complicated and multifaceted problems.
    • Provide professional consultation, supervision and collaborative medical support to other professional staff.
