This is a bargaining unit position
This position is located in Temple,
Texas. The incumbent will be assigned to Mental Health and Behavioral Medicine
(MH&BM) Service, and provide psychiatric services to the Temple site.
primary responsibilities will be in the assessment, management, and
coordination of care
for individuals with mental illnesses, including
Veterans with serious mental illnesses such as
Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

incumbent will be under the supervision of Supervisory Psychiatrist, Temple
incumbent will perform teaching activities and supervision of fellows,
medical students, as available.
incumbent will maintain an academic appointment with the Texas A&M College
Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science.
