Duties

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS OPEN UNTIL THE VACANCY IS FILLED. Position may be filled prior to the closing date. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible for this vacancy. Applications will be reviewed every two weeks. If filled prior to the closing date, recruitment will be terminated.

We are seeking a full-time APRN to provide telemental healthcare to patients in outlying Community based Outpatient Clinics and in person services at our Outpatient Psychiatry unit located at the Dupont Community based clinic. This position will be required to provide coverage for the emergency department when needed.   

You will perform mental health evaluations with appropriate dispositions. In addition, you will also provide consultation to the inpatient mental health and residential units. We are seeking individuals that demonstrate leadership, experience, and have the ability to establish effective communication with patients, families, visitors and member of the interdisciplinary team. WORK SCHEDULE: 8-4:30/4p-midnight (days to be determined).

Physical Requirements: Heavy Lifting (45 lbs and over); Heavy Carrying (45 lbs and over); Straight Pulling (up to 4 hours); Pushing (up to 4 hours); Reaching above shoulder; Use of fingers; Both hands required; Walking (up to 7-8 hours); Standing (up to 7-8 hours); Repeated bending (up to 7-8 hours); Both legs required; Ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously; Far vision correctable to 20/20 in one eye and to 20/40 in the other; Specific visual requirement to be able to read typed characters; Ability to distinguish basic colors;
