The Full Time Permanent Psychologist is located in the Mental Health Service Line at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center(VAMC). The Psychologist will be providing service to the Community Based Outpatient Clinics(CBOC) by telework from Minneapolis and in person at the CBOC. The Psychologist will provide diagnostic interviews, assessments, psychotherapy, case management/treatment coordination, and co-located primary care mental health interventions for adult patients with mood, anxiety, substance abuse, personality disorders, and a range of general mental health issues. Additional responsibilities include multidisciplinary consultation and participation in the psychology practicum student, intern and postdoctoral fellow training programs (i.e., teaching seminars and supervising practicum students, interns and postdoctoral fellows).

Please note that current VA psychology interns may apply if they will meet the qualifications of the position after the completion of their internship.
