    About the Position:
    Fort Lee, Home of Logistic Warriors, is a US Army installation located near the Tri-Cities of Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell, VA. Fort Lee is south of Richmond, the Capital of Virginia. There are a number of important missions accomplished by the activities located here. The missions accomplished at Fort Lee include combat and training development and the professional development of military personnel through various training programs. The civilian employees serve a vital role in direct support of the US Army mission that is crucial to supporting military operations. Fort Lee offers a broad range of civilian employment opportunities for people.

    Kenner Army Health Clinic is a multi-specialty outpatient clinic with four outlying medical clinics staffed by over 450 military, civilian and contract personnel caring for a supported population of over 32,000 eligible beneficiaries and 70,000 students annually. Clinical services include primary care and family medicine, women's health, internal medicine, pediatric medicine, dermatology, optometry, orthopedics, physical therapy, psychiatry, psychology, social work services, nutrition services and ancillary services: laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, preventive medicine, and industrial hygiene.

    • Perform surveys and studies of overall supply operations to determine proper application.
    • Develops information to reflect the trend of supply support and necessary data for submission and follow-up action to other echelons.
    • Coordinate all supply transactions throughout Kenner Army Health Clinic with supply sources and initiates local purchase actions.
    • Schedule and initiates action for physical count inventories for change of hand receipt holder.
    • Research supply transactions, maintenance requests, and receipts; and takes action to reconcile balances with the Property Book and hand receipts where discrepancies exist.
    • Exercise position management responsibilities, ensuring accuracy of job descriptions and that subordinate positions are designed and structured to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and economy.
    • Provide input to supervisor on annual budget based on past experience and anticipated requirements.
    • Maintain control on issue of restricted and pilferable medical and non-medical items.
