Duties

Work Schedule:  M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm May be asked to work extended hours.

 The Psychiatrist will serve as Supervisory Psychiatrist of The Mental Health Service line. 

  • Provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary residential and outpatient programs directed toward assisting Veterans with moderate through severe mental health conditions and their families in the Veteran's readjustment to civilian life.
  • Is responsible for mentoring and assisting the psychiatrists and mid-level providers.  He/she will provide both clinical and administrative supervisor. This position involve doing performance appraisals, setting up and finalizing pay for performance goals to eligible providers, chart reviews, counseling mention, monitoring and making adjustments to clinic profiles depends on the Cuss report.
  • Will provide other guidance nit he performance of their duties and patient care. 
  •  Treatment will include comprehensive assessments of the physical, psychiatric, emotional, and social needs of individuals with diagnosis including (but not limited to): psychosis, postramatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and organic mental illness.
